Today I discovered that there are 2 other large sporting tournaments and a family reunion on the same weekend as our NZ Singles Petanque.
Accommodation is already very tight and of course, no discounts available.
I recommend that intending players and visitors make their accommodation bookings NOW!

Hi all
Have received the following from Alexandra Club
We have just found out that there are 2 other large sporting tournaments and a family reunion on the same weekend as our pétanque. Accomodation is already very tight.
Could you please pass this information on to your members, and ask if anyone has already booked their travel for this tournament. If so, could they please let me know this, urgently.
If not, we could look at changing the date (probably to the following weekend), to make things easier accommodation-wise.
If people have already booked travel, we would advise that intending players and supporters make their accommodation bookings now.
Regards
