National Representation
Players who have met the performance requirement of a finish in the top 16 of at least one of the last four National Championships. The relevant National Championships are:
- 2007 National Triples
- 2007 National Singles
- 2007 National Doubles
- 2008 National Triples
At the 2008 PNZ Council meeting it was agreed that a finish in the top 16 of the most recent National Women's Championship would be added to the performance criteria when determining composition of teams for Women only events, or events where teams were competing on gender. Examples are Women's World Championship, Trans Tasman, Oceania and Asian Championships.
Note: The existing performance criteria will cover Open events, such as the World Championship and the Singapore International, and be used for determining Men only teams for the Trans Tasman, Oceania and Asian Championships.
